At Donarch Chocolates, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please review our returns and exchanges policy below.

Perishable Products (Chocolates & Food Items)

Due to the perishable nature of our chocolate products, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on food items unless:

  • The product arrived damaged during transit
  • The product arrived melted beyond reasonable condition
  • You received the wrong item
  • The product is defective

How to Report an Issue

If your order arrives damaged, melted, or incorrect, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order via our Contact Us page
  2. Include your order number in your message
  3. Attach clear photos of the damaged or incorrect items
  4. We will review your claim and respond within 1–2 business days

Non-Perishable Items

Non-perishable items (such as merchandise or accessories) may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase, provided they are:

  • In original, unused condition
  • In original packaging
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Refunds

Once your return or claim has been approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major failure or is significantly different from its description, you are entitled to a replacement or refund.
