Handmade chocolate in the Hunter Valley

Donarch Fine Chocolate has been making chocolate by hand in the Hunter Valley since 2016. Every piece is made in small batches at our Kurri Kurri factory using Belgian chocolate and local ingredients, including honeycomb made with honey from our own beehives.

Our raspberry heart, filled with real fruit, has taken gold at both the Australian Fine Food Awards and the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

Three Hunter Valley stores

Tenambit — our original store, five minutes from Maitland CBD and around 35 minutes from Newcastle. Open Monday to Saturday.
Kurri Kurri — our chocolate factory and classroom. Watch chocolate being made, or book a hands-on class.
Lovedale — in Hunter Valley wine country at Bluebush Estate, open Friday to Sunday.

The new chocolate workshop was a lot of fun. Donna, Paul and Bec are absolutely amazing, extremely knowledgeable and just the absolute nicest people. High quality product with an amazing range of chocolate to suit all chocolate lovers. Have bought many gifts from here over the years though I try to avoid it so I don't buy too much for myself.

Great chocolate, great customer service, probably need to invest in a size bigger jeans now. No regrets when the choccies this good though.

Just incredible quality chocolate and the range is insane! There are so many flavours and types to choose from. The team are lovely to deal with and I think the customer service is great! It’s hard to go back to other chocolate after tasting Donarch!
